Discipleship is another of our most important areas of ministry. For several years Tom and others have led small groups in a structured and in-depth study of the Word. These groups are one of the best ways to teach and mature students in Christ. These have been the most memorable times for alumni.
There is a time of praise and worship at each Tuesday evening fellowship meeting. We have a “praise team” that has been very well received by the students. We consider our worship to the Lord to be not only these times of fellowship and singing, but more importantly, including all we do in service for Him. Our lives are an expression of praise to Him.
We are encouraging the formation of small groups, in order for there to be a place for more in-depth study and accountability. These groups are of several types including young married couples and single students.
There are many opportunities to teach, work and minister to others in far away places, and CCF students regularly travel in groups to perform special ministries. We’ve found needs in places like Idaho, Haiti and Mexico, and in others like the Childrens’ Ranch in Cookson, or Nursing Homes in our area. Click on Mission Trips to learn more.
We have so many opportunities to serve Jesus right here in Tahlequah. On campus and around the community, we gather to help others, witness about our Lord and reach out to those in need.
